A man stands outside Huntingdon Station as Police and other emergency responders attend the scene on November 02, 2025 in Huntingdon, England after a stabbing attack on a train. The home secretary has urged the public to “avoid speculation” after a mass train stabbing took place last night.Ten people are now in hospital – nine facing a life-threatening injuries – following a horrifying attack on a train heading from Doncaster down to London’s King’s Cross.The counter-terror police are now involved and two people have been arrested – but very little else is known right now.Writing on X last night, Shabana Mahmood said: “I am deeply saddened to hear about the stabbings in Huntingdon.“My thoughts go out to all those affected.“Two suspects have been immediately arrested and taken into custody.“I am receiving regular updates on the investigation.“I urge people to avoid comment and speculation at this early stage.”&
