Fresh herbsI can handle potatoes going off after a couple of weeks – though I know they can survive for months in the right conditions, I’m happy enough with how they behave on my countertops. The same goes for cheese (which usually lasts a while) and berries (they go off quickly, but we eat them quickly too).
