'This is Mamdani's home country': Uganda responds to hate post against New York City mayor-elect Zohran

The Ugandan government has responded to a US Republican congressman's hateful post targeting New York City mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, who was born in Uganda. " We encourage respectful dialogue and discourage the use of misinformation or stereotypes to demean nations or their people," the government of Uganda posted on X.
