An Indian nurse at Singapore's Raffles Hospital received a jail sentence of 14 months and two strokes of the cane for molesting a male visitor in a hospital toilet. The 34-year-old nurse, Elipe Siva Nagu, claimed he intended to 'disinfect' the victim. The incident, which occurred in June, caused the victim significant emotional distress.
