David TennantDavid Tennant has admitted he set his sights on a key Marvel role in an upcoming film, but missed out on the part he wanted.The former Doctor Who star recently put in an appearance at London’s ComicCon, where he took part in a Q&A that allowed fans to put their questions to him.As part of the conversation, one guest asked David if there were any superhero roles he’d ever hoped to land.“I think in terms of supervillains I got the best one with Kilgrave,” he responded, referring to his character in Netflix’s TV adaptation of Jessica Jones.However, he then admitted that he’d hoped to be cast in Marvel’s upcoming reboot of the Fantastic Four series.“In terms of superheroes, I did slightly have my eye on Reed Richards. and unfortunately it looks like they’ve gone in a different direction,” he admitted.
