President Donald Trump's state visit could happen in September.Tens of thousands of people have signed a petition demanding Donald Trump be blocked from addressing parliament during his upcoming state visit.The US president has said he expects to come to the UK in September.It will be his second state visit – the first time a president has been handed such an honour.Keir Starmer handed over an invitation letter from King Charles when he visited the White House in February.A group of MPs and peers have already urged the Speakers of the House of Commons and House of Lords to turn down any request for Trump to address them while he is here.It has now emerged that a petition on the change.org website echoing that demand has attracted 43,000 signatures in just a week.
