A gunman's rampage in a Manhattan office tower claimed four lives, including off-duty NYPD officer Didarul Islam and Blackstone executive Wesley LePatner. The shooter, Shane Tamura, harbored grievances against the NFL, believing he suffered from CTE. Commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed an NFL employee was wounded. Islam, a father of two with a pregnant wife, was hailed as a hero.
