Dubai is undertaking a massive $35 billion expansion of Al Maktoum International (DWC), transforming it into a city-scale airport. This project will eventually feature five runways and capacity for over 150 million passengers annually, aiming to become Dubai's primary aviation hub and absorb operations from DXB over the next decade.
