Tory and Reform voters split over idea of a merger with fewer than half backing formal link up amid coalition rumours ahead of local elections

Just 45 per cent of current Reform UK voters would support a merger, while 43 per cent are opposed to the idea. And support is even lower among current Tories, with 38 per cent in favour.
