Colombia declares emergency as yellow fever kills 34; vaccination card now mandatory for travel

Colombia has declared a state of emergency due to a surge in yellow fever cases, prompting President Petro to urge unvaccinated citizens to avoid high-risk areas, especially the coffee region, during Easter. With 74 confirmed cases and 34 deaths this year, the government is mandating vaccination cards for travellers. The president has also called for an economic emergency.
