He was 56.The Australian-American star’s wife, Kelly McMahon, confirmed his death in a statement to Deadline. Kelly told the outlet on Friday that Julian had died peacefully in Clearwater, Florida on 2 July. “With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,” she said in the statement.Kelly, who tied the knot with the CBS’ FBI: Most Wanted actor in 2014, went on to tell the outlet that her late husband was a man who “loved life”.“He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible,” she continued.“We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy.
