Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan, born in 1935, is Saudi Arabia’s newly appointed Grand Mufti. A respected religious scholar, he has served on the Council of Senior Scholars and the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta since 1992. Known for his deep expertise in Islamic jurisprudence, teaching, and fatwas, Al-Fawzan plays a key role in guiding Saudi Arabia’s religious and legal landscape.
