Saudi Arabia’s unemployment falls to 2.8%: Here’s what’s changing in the job market

Saudi Arabia's unemployment rate hit a record low of 2.8% in Q1 2025, driven by Vision 2030 reforms. Unemployment among Saudi nationals also reached a historic low of 6.3%, prompting a revised target of 5% by 2030. Female participation in the workforce rose to 36.3%, with unemployment dropping to 10.5%.
