Who is Amjad Al-Shawa? Palestinian activist named as new leader of Gaza’s technocrat government - Reports

Gaza's new technocratic board will be led by prominent civil society figure Amjad Al-Shawa, a choice reportedly backed by both Hamas and the Palestinian Authority. Al-Shawa, a human rights activist, has a history of mediating critical issues and advocating for Gaza's needs. Hamas, however, retains security control for now.
