Cynthia Nixon at the premiere of And Just Like That last weekCynthia Nixon has claimed that she and her colleagues raised issues about Sex And The City’s predominantly white cast during its initial run, to no avail.During a new interview with Grazia, the And Just Like That star reflected on “certain things” about the award-winning series that “have really not aged well”.“It was always very difficult being on a show that was so white,” the Emmy winner explained. “I always hated that.”She continued: “When we would raise it, we were told: this is [Candace Bushnell, the author of the original Sex And The City column and book]’s world and it’s a very white world. I [was] like, ‘OK…’.”
